    Mbappé gives the worst news to PSG hours before playing against Clermont

    AdminBy AdminSeptember 30, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

    The Parisian team is already looking ahead to their next Ligue 1 appointment against Clermon after giving an outstanding 4-0 victory over Olympique Marseille in Le Classique, where even Selena Gomez and numerous celebrities were present for the masterclass given by PSG. However, it appears that Kylian Mbappé won’t play in the upcoming match.

    Gonçalo Ramos had to replace Kylian Mbappé during the first half of the game against Olympique because of an injury to his left ankle. Ramos even scored twice to help Le Classic win 4-0. Kylian Mbappé has a left ankle ligament deformation, according to the official medical report, preventing him from playing until further guidance.

    Although it might seem like a “soft” injury, PSG manager Luis Enrique does not want to put his star striker in any danger or risk during the upcoming encounter against Clermont.
    Le’ Equipe, citing sources from the French media, reported that Kylian Mbappé will undoubtedly not play this Saturday, October 1.
    After their match against Clermont on Saturday, Luis Enrique and PSG still have a fairly busy schedule ahead of them. The second UEFA Champions League date is set for the following week, and Paris-Saint-Germain will play Newcastle, who just defeated Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the third round of the EFL Cup.

    Mbappé won’t be the only person missed;
    The point is that four PSG players were involved in the discriminatory chantings that were directed at the Marseille fans at the conclusion of the game versus Marseille. This is probably a typical occurrence in this sport.
    As a result of their involvement in the ultras’ shouting, Ousmane Dembélé, Randal Kolo Muani, Achraf Hakimi, and Layvin Kurzawa are currently the subject of an LFP (Professional Football League) inquiry.
    The authorities claim that “the commission was contacted by reports from officials, in this case from the delegates, who denounced chants of a homophobic nature and comments from certain players that could be described as insulting and rude.” said Sébastien Deneux,

    leader of the LFP’s disciplinary organization.
    On Thursday, October 5th, the five players and the squad will be asked to make a statement.
    Following their victory over Marseille on Monday, Paris-Saint-Germain issued a statement in which they denounced all forms of racist chanting and expressed regret for the conduct of their players toward the crowd.
