Another Chelsea player was released from his duty abroad.
After playing for Albania in a match against another nation, Armando Broja was told to return home.
The Chelsea striker has recently returned from a protracted injury layoff and is gradually regaining his fitness.
The 22-year-old wanted to participate in his nation’s matches during this international break, but his coach Sylvinho didn’t want to rush him. As a result, he sent the player back to England after leaving him on the bench for Thursday’s 3-0 victory against the Czech Republic.
Axel Disasi, who appeared to have harmed himself, was the first player to be returned from overseas service. Broja is the second Chelsea player to be expelled from international service.
Chelsea will be hopeful that both players will be available for the match against Arsenal immediately following the break for international duty.
