At his press conference after the game, Arteta voiced his strong disapproval, especially with the game’s winning goal. He was adamant that the goal should never have stood and called the award it received shameful.
One of the most complex VAR checks in Premier League history was prompted by the disagreement over the game’s winning goal between Newcastle and Arsenal. Four minutes and six seconds were spent by officials deliberating over whether Anthony Gordon’s goal in the 64th minute was legitimate.
At St. James’ Park, Newcastle defeated Arsenal 1-0 thanks to a close-range goal from Gordon that was assisted by a cross from Joe Willock. Gordon’s goal turned out to be the game-winning score in a hotly contested match.
Arsenal’s manager, Arsène Wenger, must make some calculated decisions after his team suffered its second defeat in a row, snapping their 16-year winning streak. The fact that Jesus and Odegaard were not present was crucial to the result. Arsenal’s performance was sparked by Havertz’s challenge, but they were unable to take use of their superiority and only mustered one chance on goal during the game.
Manchester City scored six goals on that particular day, therefore Arteta needs to review his team’s offensive strategy.
Kai Havertz drew harsh criticism from Gary Neville for his “dangerous” and “stupid” challenge on Sean Longstaff during Arsenal’s game against Newcastle. Havertz’s challenge caused controversy because, despite the indignation of the Newcastle players and the shock of the commentary team, he was only given a yellow card.
Newcastle’s manager, Eddie Howe, orchestrated yet another noteworthy triumph for his side. In the second half, the home team effectively resisted Arsenal’s pressure, ruining Arsenal’s unblemished start to the season. Newcastle’s supporters celebrated the victory, moving their team up to sixth position in the Premier League rankings, just four points behind Arsenal, even though Gordon’s goal may have been contested on a different day.

It was very shocking and irritating during that period for that goal to stand, actually the referees decision was a stoning punishment of no reason to arsenal FC,but to a larger extent justice has been revealed by FIFA to arsenal FC family,we appreciate for the good work done.
A very good one from FIFA, this will serve as a deterrent to other officials. Some of the VAR checks end up very bad.
This sad good to those fake referees.
The big enemies to Arsenal.its is their time.
