Arsenal will provide a list of VAR rulings that have gone against them throughout the last 18 months to PGMOL at their upcoming meeting.

The Gunners are still at odds with the referees in the wake of their dramatic loss against Newcastle last Saturday.

Mikel Arteta, who was visibly incensed that Bruno Guimaraes had been given a red card after a clash with Jorginho, is certain to be punished for criticizing the decision to allow Anthony Gordon’s disputed winning goal.

Arsenal defended their manager on Sunday by lamenting the quality of officiating in a strongly worded statement. They will have to deal with the fallout over the next 48 hours.

After additional egregious officiating and VAR errors on Saturday night, the statement read, “Arsenal Football Club totally endorses Mikel Arteta’s post-match statements.”

We also wish to express our gratitude to the traveling fans and players for an outstanding show at St. James’ Park.

The world’s best league is the Premier League, home to elite athletes, head coaches, and passionate supporters who all ought to be better. PGMOL needs to take immediate action to rectify the level of officiating and concentrate on taking steps that move everyone away from attempts at explanations, retroactive analysis, and apology.

“We commend Chief Refereeing Officer Howard Webb’s ongoing efforts and would be happy to work with him to achieve the high standards of officiating that our league demands.”

The Daily Mail claims that PGMOL has not taken kindly to Arsenal’s complaints, believing the north London club’s response to be unduly severe, and that the latter has no plans to officially address the matter.

Arsenal, however, is adamant that the problem that occurred on Saturday was not a unique incidence and that they have been the targets of several rulings that show a distinct pattern.

In addition, Arsenal will bring up rulings from the previous season during their upcoming meeting as evidence of the perceived unfair treatment they have received.

Arsenal’s complaints include the disallowed goal by Gabriel Martinelli at Old Trafford, which was called back for a minor foul by Martin Odegaard on Christian Eriksen close to the halfway line; additionally, they blame Lee Mason for failing to draw the lines, which would have most likely prevented Ivan Toney from scoring the equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Brentford.

Mateo Kovacic of Manchester City was spared a red card for two consecutive cautionable violations; Arsenal will also cite this as an example of highly dubious officiating against them last month.
