Enraged after an altercation with Felipe Melo, Kyle Walker had to be separated by his Manchester City teammates following their resounding 4-0 win on Friday.
Pep Guardiola’s team, after a convincing win over Fluminense, claimed the Club World Cup, adding to their impressive array of trophies won this year, including the FA Cup, Super Cup, Premier League, and Champions League, marking their fifth major prize of the year.
Amidst the celebration, a heated exchange took place between Walker and Melo, involving physical contact and shoving before Jack Grealish intervened, attempting to defuse the situation. The catalyst for their confrontation remains unclear.
Despite the initial altercation between the players, the situation quickly de-escalated as City continued their celebrations. Post-match, former Real Madrid teammates Mateo Kovacic and Marcelo shared a pleasant moment, highlighting the mutual respect between the two teams.
