In nine Premier League appearances, Olise has scored five goals and provided one assist. Notably, he scored a late equalizer against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Edwards suggests that the £8 million-valued player might join forces with Pep Guardiola.
The respected journalist mentioned to the BBC, “I anticipate that the tussle will happen in the summer, but I would advise Crystal Palace fans to enjoy him while he’s with the club. I believe Palace can stave off any potential suitors this month, and I don’t foresee a move happening this month. However, once that release clause comes into play, there’s little they can do.”
The release clause, according to The Mirror, is valued at £60 million.
Olise could potentially opt for Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, or Arsenal as his next destination, as per Edwards.
The reasoning suggests that Olise could be a suitable addition to Manchester City, referred to as a potential “Mahrez 2.0.” Both Olise and Riyad Mahrez share similar attributes, possessing exceptional left-foot control that effectively impacts opponents when cutting inside.
