Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane, who has garnered attention from Premier League clubs such as Manchester City and Liverpool, has addressed the speculations regarding his future.
With his contract set to expire in 2025, there’s an increasing likelihood of a potential move next summer. Sane emphasized that despite the ongoing rumors, he isn’t currently focused on contemplating his future plans.
According to insider Christian Falk at Bayern Munich, both Manchester City and Liverpool are eyeing Sane for the upcoming summer transfer window. However, discussions about extending his contract with Bayern Munich haven’t commenced as he remains dedicated to the current season.
Sane mentioned, “I haven’t given it any attention yet. Right now, I want to concentrate on this season, but the club wants to discuss. Undoubtedly, FC Bayern remains my priority.”
As negotiations for a contract extension have yet to begin, Sane’s immediate priority is fulfilling his commitments with Bayern Munich. The winger has been performing remarkably for Thomas Tuchel’s side this season, with nine goals and seven assists in 18 appearances across all competitions.
Both Bayern Munich and Sane aim to continue their partnership, with discussions expected to kick off soon. However, if an agreement isn’t reached, the strong interest from Manchester City and Liverpool presents appealing possibilities for the German international, whom both Premier League giants view as a valuable addition to their squads.
