Two key players from Crystal Palace will be absent for their match against Chelsea. Hear what Pochettino has to say at walexsports.com.
Despite the absence of key players from Crystal Palace, Mauricio Pochettino has reminded his Chelsea players that they remain a formidable opponent.
Crystal Palace is set to face Chelsea at Selhurst Park on Monday, with Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise expected to be sidelined.
While Chelsea may be expected to compound the challenges for Roy Hodgson’s struggling team, Pochettino remains cautious about the difficulty of the match.
“I have immense respect for Roy; he’s an excellent coach,” Pochettino remarked. “In football, pressure mounts when you suffer consecutive defeats, but he’s managing the situation well. I have no doubt he’ll turn things around with Palace. Perhaps after our game!”
“However, it won’t be easy for us, given our persistent injury concerns,” Pochettino added. “They may be missing two key players, but I believe they have sufficient depth in their squad to cope.”
