With wins this weekend from all three top contenders for the Premier League title, the season promises an exciting finale.

Despite Liverpool’s loss to Arsenal over the weekend, they couldn’t extend their lead by eight points, narrowing the gap between the top three teams to just two points.

Liverpool secured a 3-1 victory against Burnley at Anfield on Saturday, momentarily putting them ahead after Manchester City’s win against Everton in the early kickoff.

However, Arsenal’s standout performance of the weekend came with a 6-1 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium.

The return to fitness of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne has bolstered City’s position as favorites to clinch the title once again. Haaland netted two goals against Everton, one of which was set up by De Bruyne.

Despite this, Pep Guardiola remains cautious, stating that the return of Haaland and De Bruyne doesn’t guarantee an easy title win for City.

He believes Liverpool and Arsenal still pose threats in the race for the regular season championship. Guardiola shrugged off concerns about their rivals’ fear, emphasizing his confidence in his team’s fearless attitude.

The upcoming clash between Liverpool and City at Anfield on March 10 could prove crucial in determining the title race. Additionally, the Premier League winner will have to face Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool faced a tough challenge against Burnley, equalizing before halftime and securing a crucial three points with goals from Luis Díaz and Darwin Núñez.

Klopp acknowledged that Tottenham and Aston Villa are also in contention, despite Arsenal’s loss to Manchester United on Sunday.

Klopp emphasized the importance of resilience, acknowledging that momentum isn’t always guaranteed.

He praised his team for persevering through challenges and securing the victory against Burnley, highlighting the unpredictable nature of each game in the Premier League.
