According to reports from The Athletic, the Brazilian Football Federation has received written confirmation that Carlo Ancelotti, the current manager of Italy, harbors a strong desire to join them once his tenure with Real Madrid concludes in the summer of 2024.
Beginning January 1st, Ancelotti will be free to enter negotiations about his future with any interested parties, and the CBF intends to publicly address his potential recruitment starting from the new year, seeking to apply pressure on both the coach and Madrid.
Furthermore, the CBF asserts that they have “legal assurances” ensuring Ancelotti’s commitment to assuming the managerial role next summer.
However, this assurance is not legally binding, giving the manager the flexibility to extend his stay at the Spanish capital should he receive an offer of contract renewal from Florentino Perez.
