According to Chelsea supporters, Mauricio Pochettino should be dismissed following the team’s 2-1 defeat to Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

After another disappointing performance at the Molineux on Christmas Eve, the former PSG coach is facing mounting pressure.

Despite significant player acquisitions in the summer, Chelsea has struggled for consistency in the Premier League this season, winning just six of their first 18 games.

Wolves secured victory in the second half with goals from Mario Lemina and Matt Doherty, handing Pochettino’s team their eighth loss of the season.

Substitute Christopher Nkunku scored a header in the ninetieth minute on his Premier League debut to reduce the deficit.

Chelsea supporters have expressed their frustration on social media, with the hashtag #Pochettinoout trending.

“Why would you bench Nkunku and play two poor strikers?” Friedrich questioned on X.

“I’m there now,” wrote Alex Goldberg on X. “Pochettino ought to be fired. No, it’s Christmas; that’s tomorrow. Rather, this evening. However, you dare not believe that will instantly make us better. We still operate like a circus and have serious cultural problems.”

“They want to make it about Poch vs. Attackers,” the Tolor wrote on X. “Broja, Jackson, and Sterling all shouldn’t have started based on our last game. The only reason you would start Jackson would be if Nkunku wasn’t ready. Who is at fault here?”

“It’s time for #PochettinoOut,” CFC Adam posted on X. “This is terrible! Terrible setup, terrible tactics, inability to dismantle teams, and £1 billion spent on pure junk! Bravo, @ChelseaFC can’t believe I had to watch this awful team again at 4 a.m.”

On X, Quest Quest wrote: “Pochettino ought to be fired. No, it’s Christmas; that’s tomorrow. Rather, this evening. However, you dare not hope that it would solve every problem instantly. It’s a complete circus with a serious cultural problem.”

Meanwhile, Pochettino stated that Chelsea should have gotten more out of the match.

“Although I believe we should have received far more, we cannot deny that in a league as competitive as the Premier League, you cannot be clinical and then complain about the outcome,” he said.

“We created a lot of chances in the first half, but we did not score,” he continued.

Led by manager Mauricio Conte, the Chelsea team and supporters will be seeking an immediate response when Chelsea faces Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
