After his disappointing FA Cup experience on Sunday, Raheem Sterling’s potential departure from Chelsea during the summer transfer window has been discussed.
Having joined Chelsea from Manchester City for £47.5 million less than two years ago, speculation has arisen about his future at the club.
While clubs in the Saudi Pro League have shown interest in Sterling, The Independent reports that he is determined to win over Chelsea fans and has no plans to leave, rejecting any potential approaches from those clubs.
Despite his recent setback, Sterling remains committed to helping Chelsea achieve success and is satisfied with his current situation at the club.
It has been reported that he privately acknowledged his below-par performance against Leicester.
So far, Sterling has made 74 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 17 goals and providing 14 assists.
Following Chelsea’s victory over Leicester, he issued an apology to all Chelsea supporters for missing the penalty.
“I’ll come back stronger to support the team and remain dedicated to the club’s badge,” Sterling stated. “Come on, Blues.”
