West Ham has lost five of its six away games in all competitions this season, conceding four goals or more on six occasions, including the loss at Stamford Bridge.
Moyes believes that Rice’s presence in midfield would have improved the team’s defense, cutting down on 50% of attacks in key situations. He acknowledged that the team has not been good enough in many games and lacks protection in front of the back four. However, he emphasized the need to exercise caution, as the team is still in a good position.
Moyes also highlighted the importance of mental toughness, which he believes is lacking in the team. He noted that his teams are usually prepared to handle tough situations, but this season has been an exception. He acknowledged that Chelsea is in
