Manchester City will soon hold discussions with 33-year-old, nine-year veteran Kevin De Bruyne about his future, possibly involving a move to the MLS or Saudi Arabia.
According to a report by Football Insider, Kevin De Bruyne has left Manchester City in a dilemma over his long-term future.
The Belgian playmaker is in the final year of his contract with the club, and both MLS team San Diego FC and Saudi Pro League clubs are reportedly interested in signing him. However, the Premier League champions are keen to discuss his future plans.
Kevin De Bruyne has had an outstanding career at Manchester City, joining the team in a major deal from VfL Wolfsburg in August 2015.
Over his nine years with the Citizens, the 33-year-old has made a transformative impact, helping turn City into a winning powerhouse. He has made nearly 400 appearances, scoring 103 goals and providing 171 assists.
However, De Bruyne’s future at Manchester City remains uncertain as he enters the last months of his contract. There are also fitness concerns, as the Belgian playmaker has spent most of the 2024/25 season sidelined and has logged under 500 minutes of playing time.
