Earlier this year, the illustrious career of German football legend Toni Kroos came to an end as the 34-year-old hung up his boots.
Reflecting on his deep connection with Real Madrid, Kroos acknowledged that his bond with the club is “too strong” to fade and hinted at a possible return in a different capacity in the future.
Kroos Reflects on His Time with Real Madrid
Speaking on his *Einfach mal luppen* podcast, Kroos said, “Real Madrid will always be important to me. It was a long, wonderful, successful, and heartfelt chapter of my life.
There’s no doubt—I’ll always feel connected to Real Madrid. I’ll always support and stand by the club, and that won’t change because the relationship is so strong.”
However, Kroos clarified that he isn’t currently considering a new role at the club. “Right now, taking on a public role isn’t relevant to me. Despite my close bond with the club, I’d say no for now.
But I’m not ruling out the possibility of working with Real Madrid again in the future. It depends on the role and how things align in the coming years after my career has fully settled. For now, I’ll wait and see.”
A Career Full of Achievements
Throughout his illustrious career, Kroos achieved nearly every accolade in football. He secured numerous trophies with Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, and Real Madrid, and played a pivotal role in Germany’s 2014 World Cup triumph.
Given his immense contributions to Real Madrid, it’s likely the club would welcome him back warmly if he chooses to return in the future.
