Real Madrid is reportedly looking to offload Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy, with plans to bring in Miguel Gutierrez from Girona and Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich, according to Cadena SER.
Canadian international Alphonso Davies has been on Real Madrid’s radar for some time. With his current contract at Bayern Munich set to expire next summer and no renewal in place, Real Madrid and Barcelona are both reportedly interested in signing the 24-year-old.
Miguel Gutierrez is also rumored to be a potential returnee to his former club. The 23-year-old left Real Madrid for Girona in August 2022, where he has since made 93 appearances, tallying 16 assists and six goals across all competitions.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti reportedly aims to create space for new signings by trading Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia. Mendy joined Real Madrid from Lyon in July 2019 and has registered six goals and ten assists in 184 appearances. His contract with the club is set to expire next summer.
Fran Garcia, who previously played in Real Madrid’s youth teams, returned to the club in July 2023 after a stint with Rayo Vallecano.
The 25-year-old has since featured in 44 games for Los Blancos, contributing one goal and seven assists. Despite his contract running until 2027, he could leave as early as next summer.
