Arsenal faces significant injury challenges ahead of their upcoming fixtures. Defender William Saliba is sidelined due to a hamstring injury sustained during the recent match against Aston Villa. Reports suggest he will miss approximately two weeks, ruling him out of games against Dinamo Zagreb, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Girona. His availability for the crucial match against Manchester City on February 2 remains uncertain.

In positive news, both Riccardo Calafiori and Ethan Nwaneri have returned to full training. Calafiori had been absent for three matches due to a muscular issue, while Nwaneri recovered swiftly from a groin injury sustained earlier this month. Both are now in contention for selection in the upcoming Champions League game against Dinamo Zagreb.

However, the team continues to cope without key players Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus. Saka underwent surgery for a hamstring injury and is expected to be out until at least March. Gabriel Jesus is facing a prolonged absence due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, with an anticipated recovery period of up to a year.

Defender Ben White remains unavailable following knee surgery in November, with his return date still uncertain.

These injuries present significant challenges for manager Mikel Arteta as Arsenal prepares for a demanding schedule, including the pivotal match against Manchester City.
