Jadon Sancho, currently on loan at Chelsea from Manchester United, has reportedly expressed a strong desire to return to Borussia Dortmund, just seven months after his move to the London club. Sancho’s performance at Chelsea has been underwhelming, with only two goals and six assists in 29 appearances, and a significant drop in contributions over his last 14 league matches.
Chelsea’s loan agreement includes a Β£25 million obligation to buy, but the club can opt out by paying Manchester United a Β£5 million compensation fee. This clause could facilitate Sancho’s return to Dortmund, where he previously made 158 appearances and enjoyed considerable success.
Bayer Leverkusen, managed by Xabi Alonso, has also shown interest in acquiring the winger.
