“I’ve urged the Chelsea board to facilitate their exit as Pochettino is inexperienced and incapable of handling these players,” said Roma Manager Jose Mourinho, highlighting the Chelsea Rolls Royce players as his main targets for January, aiming to assert his authority over Pochettino.

Jose Mourinho eyes a January move for two Chelsea players, Trevoh Chalobah and Malang Sarr, to join Roma.

Reportedly, neither Chalobah nor Sarr has made appearances for Chelsea in the current season under Mauricio Pochettino.

Chalobah has been sidelined due to a thigh injury for a few months, fueling speculation about a potential transfer away from the club in the upcoming period, while Sarr, despite being injury-free, hasn’t made the matchday squad.

Considering the return of Levi Colwill from his loan spell and the arrival of Axel Disasi, both players have seen a reduction in their roles at Chelsea. Consequently, the club is reportedly open to selling them in January.

Mourinho’s Roma is looking to reinforce their defense in the transfer window following a run of only four clean sheets in the initial 12 Serie A matches this season.
