(Video) Enraged Nicholas Jackson engages in intense altercation with Everton players following the loss to Everton.

Mauricio Pochettino had to intervene and separate Nicolas Jackson from a confrontation after Chelsea’s humiliating defeat to Everton. Jackson appeared to lose control.

Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin scored in the second half, securing a significant 2-0 victory for Sean Dyche’s team at Goodison Park on Sunday, leaving Chelsea with a defeat.

Following a 2-1 loss to Manchester United last week, the Blues have now suffered two consecutive league defeats.

Jackson seemed unable to maintain composure after Chelsea failed to assert control over the game against Everton. During the post-match, the 22-year-old, who came on as a substitute in the second half, appeared to engage in an altercation with Nathan Patterson.

An Everton staff member restrained him as tensions rose, preventing a potential fight. Nizaar Kinsella reported that Pochettino stepped in, pulling the Senegalese striker away from the situation. Eventually, one of Pochettino’s assistants escorted him down the tunnel, seemingly preventing him from receiving a red card.

Although Jackson featured at Old Trafford, he was not selected for today’s match. He has scored six goals this season. Chelsea currently sits in 12th place in the table with 19 points.

“Football is about scoring goals, and we were not clinical in front of goal,” expressed the Argentine manager after the team’s recent defeat. “This makes me very, very sad. We did not get the point we deserved. We did better, but I don’t think we got what we wanted.”

Chelsea’s challenging league season resumes on Saturday as they face Sheffield United.
