Wright also lauded Noni Madueke as a promising prospect but suggested improvement in his final output. Frank Lampard commended Madueke after his display against Arsenal and his subsequent start against Bournemouth following a £29 million transfer from PSV in January.
The 21-year-old impressed in Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Bournemouth, ending a six-game losing streak. Wright believes that Madueke could become a crucial player for Chelsea if he enhances his delivery.
