Wayne Rooney is eager to make a comeback to football management, exploring the possibility of taking charge in the Saudi Pro League, as per The Sun.

The former Manchester United player is contemplating a role with a Saudi Arabian club, similar to his ex-England teammate Steven Gerrard. Sources close to Rooney indicate his enthusiasm to return to coaching, especially in the Middle East.

The Sun also reveals that a Saudi club has expressed potential interest in Rooney, seeing his appointment as a means to garner attention for the league. After a brief stint with Birmingham, where he won only two of fifteen games in three months, Rooney is currently on a break in Dubai.

While his managerial career faced challenges at Birmingham, a move to Saudi Arabia could offer him a fresh opportunity to showcase his coaching abilities.
