HITC reports that Locko’s performances in France have attracted Chelsea’s interest for a potential deal. He could potentially replace Marc Cucurella, who is rumored to be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the current campaign.
Cucurella, who joined from Brighton for £62 million in 2022, has struggled to settle at Chelsea. Despite a promising debut season with Brighton, he has not maintained that form at Stamford Bridge. An ankle injury has sidelined him since December, and he has only started eight of the 14 Premier League games he has been available for. Chelsea seems open to letting him go.
Chelsea may target Locko as a replacement if Cucurella departs, providing cover for Ben Chilwell as well.
