BREAKING NEWS: “Don’t blame us if we fail to win trophy next season again…If you really need trophy then you must sign him”: Martin Ødegaard reveals the only position Arsenal doesn’t have a player who fits that place as he names the only players they must sign to solve the problem in that area

Arsenal Remains Calm and Focused on Transfer Targets Despite Missing Out on Sesko

After Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko opted to extend his contract with RB Leipzig until 2029, Arsenal has shown no signs of panic or desperation. The club had anticipated the possibility of Sesko staying at Leipzig and had presented a strong offer, which they believed would have been accepted had he chosen to leave. Sesko’s decision to remain at Leipzig is seen as a testament to his commitment to his development, having scored eighteen goals in all competitions last season.

Arsenal’s sporting director, Edu, was aware that Sesko was not eager to leave Leipzig and is now exploring alternative striker options. Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna, Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, and Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres are among the players being considered. Gyokeres, in particular, has been praised as a “game-changer” and could cost around £68.5 million.

In addition to strengthening their attack, Arsenal is also focused on reinforcing their midfield. Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad and Douglas Luiz of Aston Villa are among the players being targeted. Zubimendi’s €60 million release clause and contentment at Sociedad make him a challenging signing, while Juventus is currently negotiating a possible deal involving Luiz.

Arsenal is also keeping an eye on other midfield talents, including Joao Neves of Benfica and Bruno Guimarães of Newcastle. The club’s proactive approach in scouting and negotiating with high-caliber players demonstrates their commitment to building a strong squad capable of competing on multiple fronts next season.

While missing out on Sesko was a setback, Arsenal remains calm and collected, with a clear vision for their transfer strategy. The club’s ability to adapt and respond to changing circumstances will be crucial in the coming weeks as they seek to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
