Jorrel Hato, a young player for Ajax, has acknowledged that, like Jurrien Timber this summer, he would love to play for Arsenal in the future.
In an interview with ELF Voetbal, the defender discussed his professional trajectory to date and potential future destinations, including the Premier League.
For the 17-year-old, who has played 90 minutes in every game for the Dutch team so far this season but has yet to really distinguish himself, that is something that is far in the future.
He is the most recent in a long line of children who have been prepared for the first team by the Dutch club, with it being a slogan they strongly adhere to and are successful at.
before making significant transfers elsewhere, occasionally to the Premier League, they rose through the club’s youth ranks to shine in the main team.Jurrien Timber was the most recent to do so; he spent seven years at Ajax from 2014 to 2023, making 121 appearances for the club as well as more than 100 for various youth teams, before transferring to Arsenal in a €40 million deal this summer.
Hato admits that a move to the Premier League is his ambition and that he would like to repeat that trade if he could.
However, he is still young and has a promising career ahead of him, the man said. “Unfortunately, he was gravely hurt in his first Premier League game for Arsenal.
It is also my desire to one day make such a transfer, but I recognise that I still have a very long way to go. “In any case, the move to Arsenal was a wonderful one for him.
