After a poor showing against Chelsea this evening, Rio Ferdinand lambasts Arsenal’s £30 million player, saying, “He will ultimately cost Arsenal the title, but unfortunately Arteta does not want to drop him to the bench.”
Ferdinand chastised Arsenal’s £30 million star following his Chelsea performance.
Rio Ferdinand, an Arsenal player, has criticized David Raya for his performance against Chelsea on Saturday, saying that Raya will keep the Gunners from winning the title this year.
When he saw the Spaniard get a lob from Mykhaylo Mudryk for the Blues’ second goal at Stamford Bridge, he marked his X.
David Raya’s Arsenal career should have started out better, according to Mikel Arteta. Many were astonished that the Gunners pursued a deal and finally chose to accept a loan move with a buy option, which may cost Arsenal up to £30 million.
Following the first half, Raya passed Aaron Ramsdale to take the lead. Unfortunately, he has never reiterated that in favor of that conclusion.
Arsenal is harmed by David Raya’s mistake.
Raya has made some incredible saves. However, I haven’t always found him to be believable. Furthermore, Arteta might have changed his mind about bringing Ramsdale back after seeing his performance on Saturday.
Raya was in danger when Mudryk’s probable cross found the far post to score Chelsea’s second goal.
On social media, Richard Keys chastised the 28-year-old, saying that Arsenal couldn’t win the Premier League with him.
It appears to be Aaron Ramsdale’s thought.
Not too long after, Raya nearly got in trouble for another mistake. He passed the ball to Cole Palmer on the brink of his own box. He had to race over to stop the forward from scoring again.
It’s possible that Raya has better footwork than Ramsdale does. However, you have to wonder if the difference between the two was enough to make the effort worthwhile.
Raya certainly brought something needed to Ramsdale, Arteta said. But given the information at hand, the Gunners boss took an unjustified risk, and it has disastrously backfired.
