Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has expressed his eagerness to get back on the field after being sidelined with an ankle injury since December.
Haaland, awarded the greatest men’s player in 2023 by the Globe Soccer Awards, spoke about his desire to return to action, emphasizing his enjoyment at being part of Manchester City. Having joined City from Borussia Dortmund for £51 million in the summer transfer window of 2022, Haaland had a successful debut season, contributing significantly to winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League. Despite scoring 19 goals in 22 games this season, he has been sidelined recently. Pep Guardiola mentioned a minor setback in Haaland’s recovery, anticipating a return to full health by the end of the month.
Haaland’s impactful goal-scoring ability is expected to provide a significant boost to Guardiola’s team as they aim to secure additional titles.
