Before the friendly match against Brazil on Saturday, four English players, including Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka, trained separately from the starting lineup.
This week, at St George’s Park, the Three Lions are preparing for their matchup against the five-time world champions at Wembley this Saturday.
Jordan Henderson, Saka, Cole Palmer, and Kane were absent from the rest of the squad on Wednesday. According to Sky Sports, the four are engaged in “individualized training routines within the gym.”
When Kane, the former Tottenham player, was forced off with eight minutes left in the game, he was seen holding his left ankle after colliding with the post.
This raised doubts not only about his availability for Bayern Munich’s Champions League quarterfinal against Arsenal next month but also for England’s double-header against Brazil and Belgium.
Although Palmer, Saka, and Henderson are not reported to have any specific injury concerns, Kane did not participate in training with his teammates.

Saka played the entire 120 minutes in Arsenal’s last Champions League match before the international break, which ended in penalties against Porto.
Palmer also completed his final match for Chelsea without any issues, scoring and aiding Chelsea in defeating Leicester City in the FA Cup quarterfinal.
On Tuesday, Kobbie Mainoo was called up to the senior England squad, introducing a new face to St George’s Park.
Initially omitted from the group last week, the young Manchester United player was left out due to manager Gareth Southgate citing his lack of first-team experience.
However, two days after an impressive performance in the victory over Liverpool on Sunday, Mainoo received the call-up.
“I got a text from Steve Holland after being called up to the U21 squad,” Mainoo said. “He told me to come and meet him at reception.”
“I was promoted to the main squad,” he added. “It hasn’t fully sunk in yet. I sent them a text message from home, and they are all quite pleased.”
