Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League has reached out to Manchester City regarding goalkeeper Ederson.
The Brazilian is willing to move to the Middle East and leave the Premier League. The Mail reports that a £25 million offer is on the table, but this amount is insufficient to secure his signature.
Manchester City seeks at least double that amount, viewing Ederson as a key player for the upcoming season. However, they acknowledge the possibility of not retaining him for long.
Ederson, manager Pep Guardiola, and the team are currently in the United States for preseason training.
Comparatively, Donnarumma lacks the wide passing range of a modern goalkeeper and often struggles under pressure, as seen in a Champions League match against Real Madrid.
Ortega, on the other hand, is a better passer, composed in possession, and a skilled shot-stopper.
The German is also familiar with Guardiola’s expectations, making him a strong candidate to replace Ederson if the latter leaves Manchester City.
